Jimmy Nutt

Jimmy NuttJimmy Nutt is a Grammy and Juno Award-winning audio engineer, producer, and musician based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Originally from Texas, he relocated to the area in 2000, honing his skills as a staff engineer at the legendary FAME Recording Studios for three years before establishing his independent career and founding The NuttHouse Recording Studio in Sheffield. Known for his versatile expertise across genres like rock, Americana, and bluegrass, Nutt has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Jason Isbell, The SteelDrivers, Alabama Shakes, and The Dead South, contributing to hit records and earning praise for his mixing prowess. He is a member of the Muscle Shoals Music Association and serves as an adjunct professor teaching recording at the University of North Alabama.

Nutt’s professional relationship with Lonesome Day Records and its founder, Randall Deaton, began around 2013 when introduced by musician Gary Nichols. Their collaboration has flourished on bluegrass projects, including Nutt engineering and mixing the 2024 Bob Seger tribute album Silver Bullet Bluegrass at The NuttHouse, where his enthusiasm helped revive the endeavor. Over the course of the last year, Jimmy has made several trips from Alabama to Booneville, Kentucky, to help relaunch and support operations at the Lonesome Day studio. Recent sessions there have featured artists Jacob Fultz, Evan Curren, Jared Shoemaker, and Walker White recording with both Nutt and Deaton, underscoring their ongoing partnership in producing fresh roots music. This collaboration highlights Nutt’s role in elevating Lonesome Day’s catalog through his technical mastery and creative input.

Billy Holland

Billy Holland Billy Holland is a seasoned music industry executive and the founder/president of The Holland Group (THG Management), a full-service artist management, brand development, consultation, and label facilitation company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 2007, The Holland Group supports projects across various stages, drawing on Holland’s extensive experience that began with building industry relationships in 1999 and advancing to a General Manager role before launching his own venture. He has worked with notable acts including Sammy Kershaw, Keith Anderson, Larry Stewart, David Starr, Anderson Daniels, and others such as the Roots & Boots Tour featuring multi-platinum artists, as well as the Gatlin Brothers and Dukes of Dixieland, contributing to diverse music projects through management, consultation, and strategic facilitation.

Holland’s long-standing professional relationship with Randall Deaton and Lonesome Day Records dates back to 2014, when he oversaw the release of projects under the label’s Dry Lightning Records imprint, launched that year to focus on specific genres and collaborations. This partnership has endured over the years, with Holland serving in advisory and facilitation roles.

In 2024, Holland acted as Project Consultant for Silver Bullet Bluegrass, the acclaimed all-star bluegrass tribute to Bob Seger on Lonesome Day Records (distributed via SONY/The Orchard). He contributed to retail marketing efforts and overall project coordination, helping drive its successful rollout and visibility in the roots music market. This ongoing collaboration highlights Holland’s expertise in supporting independent labels like Lonesome Day through strategic guidance and industry connections.

Martha Moore

Martha Moore Martha Moore is a veteran independent publicist and the founder of so much MORE media, a boutique PR firm established in 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee. With over four decades of experience in the music industry, she began her career working for major labels including ABC, MCA, and PolyGram before launching her own successful independent operation. Specializing in Country, Bluegrass, Americana, Texas music, and related genres, Moore has represented a wide array of artists such as The Grascals, Guy Penrod, The Roys, Mark Wayne Glasmire, and various bluegrass acts, earning recognition including induction into the SOURCE Hall of Fame and the International Services to Industry Award from bluegrass organizations.

Moore has played a key role in the publicity efforts for Silver Bullet Bluegrass, the 2024 all-star bluegrass tribute to Bob Seger released on Lonesome Day Records. She handled promotion for the project, securing media coverage, radio features, and announcements to highlight its unique blend of classic rock songs reimagined in bluegrass style.

Her professional relationship with Lonesome Day Records founder Randall Deaton has been instrumental in these efforts, with Moore providing dedicated PR support for the label’s releases, including Silver Bullet Bluegrass.
