Julie Neumark delivers
a debut full-length album filled with
passion, fury, sadness
and triumph. Growing up in Cincinnati,
the songstress moved to Los Angeles
after studying music at Indiana University
but found her passion after performing
several shows in and around Los Angeles.
While recording Dimestore Halo, Neumark
toured the Midwest and is nurturing
that region with return dates. She
has also toured Holland twice, supporting
Beth Hart on dates
throughout the country. Dimestore Halo
was first released in
Europe to critical acclaim in 2009.
Highlights on the album include "Dimestore
Halo," "Spare Change" and "Fairytale." The
whole album, however, is full of music
that's soulful, rootsy, and utterly
original.
