Lou Reid Single “Time”
Song Includes Guest Vocals by Vince Gill and Ricky Skaggs Booneville, KY (April 27, 2005) - Lonesome Day Records will release the title cut "Time" by Lou Reid and Carolina this week to a selected bluegrass market and also on Prime Cuts of Bluegrass next month. Musicians on the single include Lou Reid (lead vocals and guitar), Vince Gill (tenor vocals), Ricky Skaggs (baritone vocals), Ron Stewart (fiddle and mandolin), Randy Kohrs (Dobro), and Harold Nixon (bass). "Time" is Lou Reid and Carolina's sixth album and their first on Lonesome Day Records. The project was produced by Ron Stewart, Lou Reid, and Randall Deaton and will be released on Tuesday, July
5, 2005. The title cut "Time" was written by John Cadley and he thanked Reid stating, "Your version of the song does what all your stuff does to me, which is why I sent it to you - drills me
right to the core.
